Promoting Education & Training
Symposiums – Awareness & Training
Since 2022, The Trust has sponsored three trauma journalism symposiums at national journalism schools to promote awareness and provide training on trauma-informed journalism. These symposiums have provided over 1,500 professional journalists and journalism students with awareness and training on best practices in trauma-informed journalism, which will improve their reporting on traumatic events. More on symposiums can be found on our Education & Outreach page.
