Ron Haviv is an Emmy-nominated, award-winning photojournalist and co-founder of the photo agency VII, dedicated to documenting conflict and raising awareness about human rights issues around the globe. In the last three decades, Haviv has covered more than twenty-five conflicts and worked in over one hundred countries.

Stefan Borg is a foreign news correspondent for TV4 Sweden. He has covered international news, politics, conflicts and natural disasters for TV4 for the last twenty years. Borg has reported from conflicts in the Middle East, the Balkans and covered the “Arab Spring” from Egypt, Libya and Syria. He was a US correspondent based in New York City during 9/11 and covered the Haiti earthquake in 2010, and most recently, the Philippines typhoon in 2013. He coordinates travel safety and security training for TV4 news crews.

Markell DeLoatch has worked three decades for the community newspaper, Public Opinion, in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. DeLoatch has had roles as photographer, chief photographer and photographer/videographer at the newspaper. He has won numerous awards through AP, Keystone Awards and national and regional awards through the National Press Photographers Association. His work has been published in newspapers across the country via the Associated Press.

David Handschuh is an acclaimed editorial photojournalist. A three-time Pulitzer nominee, Handschuh captures natural, spontaneous and complimentary images of life as it happens. A photographer for the New York Daily News for 27 years, Handschuh is a professor of photography at New York University and his work can be seen on an international travel website, FlyingManatee.com.

Kate Penn was a photographer for the York Daily Record in Pennsylvania from 2008-2015. She began her stint on general assignment and later focused on lifestyles and outdoor adventure articles. She now works in the nonprofit field in New York state.

Jason Plotkin has worked for twenty-five years as a visual journalist in York, Pa. He has used his skills in both still photography and video to capture the joys an trauma that can be found in and out of Central Pennsylvania. From fires, fairs and Penn State football, to presidential elections and small town life, Jason brings passion and compassion to his stories with the hopes of connecting with the community around him.

Kathleen Flynn is a New Orleans-based photojournalist and documentary filmmaker who focuses on stories of struggle and injustice. She has spent nearly 20 years as a working journalist, including a decade at the Tampa Bay Times and three years at NOLA.com, The Times-Picayune. She has covered in-depth community news, veterans issues throughout the country, the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, the tsunami in Thailand, immigration in Mexico, post-conflict Liberia, India’s booming pharmaceutical industry, and the war in Afghanistan.

Victor J. Blue is a multi-award-winning photojournalist whose work is most often concerned with the legacy of armed conflict, human rights, and the protection of civilian populations. He holds a master’s degree in visual communication from Ohio University.

Blue’s photographs have appeared in The New Yorker, The New York Times, Bloomberg Businessweek, Harper’s, and The New York Times Magazine, among many others. He covered the war in Afghanistan from 2009 to the fall of Kabul in 2021.

Serhii Korovainyi is a photojournalist covering the Russian-Ukrainian war. A frequent contributor to the Wall Street Journal, he has also worked with Time, the Washington Post, The Guardian, the Financial Times, and others. In personal projects, Serhii focuses on conflict, environmental issues, refugees, healthcare, and more. Serhii received his MA in Photography at Syracuse University, NY, USA, and is a Fulbright scholar. Serhii’s works have been showcased at multiple personal and group exhibitions in Ukraine and worldwide.
